What a day!

Well Monday night my jaw began to ache again causing me a bit of concern. The next day it hurt some as well. Wednesday I was about to die from the pain in my jaw. Luckily it died down some during the day and then changed to a localized pain in my tooth that was crowned. My wonderful dentist, Dr. Alex Hawkins, worked me in for an appointment. This morning I had my first root canal ever. The numbing didn't scare me this time, but it still hurt. The root canal was actually kind of interesting. I got to see the nerve that he pulled out of the tooth.
Novacaine is definitely great! I can't imagine life without it!My tooth is still pretty sore when I put pressure on it, but with time it will be all better! Thanks Alex, you're the best!
This diagram helps depict the actual process of a root canal. Alex was probably annoyed with me because I was so interested in what he was doing. I'm glad it's over! After a day of annoying tooth problems, Mom, Keri, and I went shopping and got a few presents taken care of. Then upon arriving home I sat out to watch the beautiful Geminid Meteor shower. In just a matter of minutes I saw the first meteor, and it was a beaut!

Here's an idea of a meteor show picture. Well time to rest up for tomorrow....Dad's graduation and Brian's office party! Whoo hooo!!!!
