And it begins...
Today I no longer have college classes so I am committing to updating the wedding progress weekly starting today. Well where do I begin...
THE DRESS-at the risk of letting loose any details that the Groom-to-Be should not read or hear I will be brief. My dress came in and I'm so excited about it! I absolutely love it! I will go back to Roanoke to have my alteration appointment in January. I can't wait for everyone to see the dress!
My beautiful bridesmaids: Amy, Keri, Missy, Toni, and Judith all have been measured for their dresses which are also gorgeous! Yay! It's a major accomplishment to get five girls with totally different schedules! I'm so excited to see all of them in the dresses.
Brian and I have one week left in Marriage Mentoring. We have been meeting with a couple from our church that helps us discuss key areas in starting a good marriage. Our next step is to meet with the pastor at HUMC to discuss our pastor being allowed to marry the two of us!
Reception News: Randolph Macon Women's College changes name to Randolph College. Our wedding will not be affected as the change of name will not be implemented until July 1st. Just figures that an institution that old would decide to change the name in time to mess up the invitation plans. I have been anxiously awaiting that announcement so as to order the invitations. So now I can get on it! We did get a larger room at RMWC than we first planned on, which works out well because our list has definitely grown! We sent (I don't know why I say we seeing that I did all of this) a tentative menu to the caterring director.
On the soon to do list: Choose a honeymoon location! Ireland is calling! But more than likely the Carribean will win.
